Project Overview:
The Projects involve design and development of Access Stratum (AS) Protocol Software for Embedded target for Test Mobile. The protocol software layers involved are RLC, MAC, PDCP, L1 Controller for 3G / UMTS Systems. The projects involve design and development of both control and data plane for 3GPP feature including support for existing 3GPP features on Embedded targets, real-time operating systems (RTOS) like VxWorks– using C
Academic Qualification:
BE/ME/M.Tech./B.Tech./MCA. (Electronics/Computer science)
Experience Profile: Years of relevant IT / Functional experience.
Total Experience: 5- 8 Years
Relevant Experience: 3- 4 Years
Mandatory Skills Required:
- Very Good C Programming Skills (Expert Level)
- Experience in RLC, MAC (Layer2), L1 Controller.
- Experience in WCDMA/ HSPA /GSM
- Experience of working with a real-time operating system with good understanding of OS internals (.e.g. inter task communication, task scheduling).
- Good debugging skills and comfortable with usage of tools for memory leaks detection, code coverage, code profiling, build & package, etc.
- Ability to map requirements to High level design, low level design, code, test plans
Desired Skills Required (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Understanding of VxWorks, RTOS
- Experience in on-target debugging
Key Work Accountabilities / Responsibilities for the Position Holder:
- Design and development, test planning & testing of modules
- Design of interfaces with other layers.
- Low Level Design , Coding, test planning and testing, debugging of modules
- Integration testing, test script development
- Comply with Quality processes and meeting the quality targets (defect density, code coverage, etc.)
- Technical Documentation as per convention agreed upon with the customer
