Mandatory Skills Required:
- Good understanding of 3GPP specifications (WCDMA, HSPA+)
- Experience in layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 design/testing for WCDMA/HSPA and Python scripting
- Excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills; ability to logically analyse technical issues and determine potential causes
- Some experience in commissioning and installation of wireless systems
- Experience in working at client site to provide the solutions support
Desired Skills Required (Preferred but not mandatory):
- Understanding of LTE specifications along with WCDMA
Key Work Accountabilities / Responsibilities for the Position Holder:
- Installation and commissioning of new mobile test systems and software
- On-site customer training
- Interoperability testing of mobile system and customer base stations
- Development, debug and integration with customer base stations of Python test scripts
- Trouble-shooting and diagnostics of customer technical issues
- Work closely with customer in UK and India engineering teams to resolve technical issues
- Build and maintain close relationships with key customers
- Frequent travel to Bangalore and other regions will be required to provide solutions support to clients
