Job Description
• The Oracle Apps Techno-Functional Analyst is responsible for actively supporting production system issues, month-end closing and on-going ERP & Business intelligence systems projects. Responsible for new system enhancements/changes in extending the existing capabilities to implemented Oracle and custom functionalities.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for addressing ERP month end closing activities and resolve technical issues.
- Handle the day to day support of key financial applications and enable reporting of the same.
- Troubleshoot and resolve techno functional issues liaising with end users and IT.
- Independently write SQL queries in order to quickly trouble shoot issues.
- Participate in ERP upgrade projects and Hyperion Enterprise performance management & Business intelligence projects.
- Perform user acceptance testing and validations to ensure that the application meets user requirements and are bug-free.
- Support the Application Manager – Finance towards any new system or process implementation.
- Develop custom reports as per user requirements.
Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Oracle ERP (Financials, Supply chain, Manufacturing, etc) with strong business process and functional knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP Tables and writing SQL/PL SQL Queries.
- Oracle certification & knowledge in Hyperion EPM & BI will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills.
- Oracle R12 / Fusion Experience would be an added advantage.
Education
- Master degree in the field of IT / Finance ( , Computer Engineering, MCA, MBA, etc)
