Retail Lead – VMS and ADVMS – Hyderabad

Role purpose:

The Sales Manager – VMS, ADVMS is responsible for driving sales operations across VMS and ADVMS. The Operations Manager – VMS, ADVMS reports to Circle Retail Head.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

 

  • Implement the circle retail strategy for VMS, ADVMS through growth in revenues and engaging with channel partners
  • Achieve Gross and Net Acquisition target in the circle for VMS, ADVMS
  • Developing new promotional programs for the VMS, ADVMS Channel partners to drive sales
  • Develop strategy to increase the footfalls and increase the conversions at the outlets
  • Assist Retail Head in recommending new product launches to increase penetration / revenues from new / existing subscribers
  • Provide feedback on competitive moves to protect base and increase share of subscribers and revenue.

Operational

  • Achieve circle revenue target for the VMS, ADVMS for all products
  • Develop and improve upon existing partnership models across zones
  • Maintain high quality of sales operations in VMS, ADVMS as determined by quality audits
  • Achieve VMS, ADVMS expansion targets by appointing and monitoring distribution partners in new and existing areas
  • Conduct channel partner engagement activities
  • Receive timely feedback and inputs from Zonal Retail Leadsinsights related to retail performance at the overall circle level HSW compliance

HSW Compliance

  • Ensure that the HSW norms are adhered to

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Experience

  • 4 -6 years of experience in FMCG/retail industry
  • Multi-national, multi-geography team leadership experience to bring in best practices
  • Experience with distribution planning and channel implementation
  • P&L management skills

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Essential : Graduation
  • Desired : full – time post – graduation in business management/MBA

Budget owned:

 Financial

  • Accountability for circle revenue target for VMS, ADVMS for all products
  • Manage performance of all partnerships (ROI for channel partner)

Non – Financial

  • Achievement of VMS, ADVMS expansion targets in the circle
  • Retention of key employees and channel partners
  • Customer walk-in conversion
  • Ensure smooth operations across the circle through the VMS, ADVMS in-charges
