Procurement Manager – Cashew,cocoa for Nigeria Ivory Coast

• Master Degree in any stream from any premium institution/university. MBA is an additional preference.
• Good knowledge of Cashew quality parameters.
• Knowledge of Raw Cashew Nut and Cashew Kernel markets.
• Excellent communication skills and writing proficiency in English.
• Good Computer literacy and IT skills.
• Good leadership skills.

Job Description:

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years experience of handling Cashew and Agric/other similar commodities Procurement. African markets experience is preferred.
• Experience of selling Raw Cashew Nuts in India, Vietnam.
• Good connection and networking with Cashew Processors in India.

Scope: 

• Overall accountability of Cashew Nuts procurement/selling/trading activities including market search, expansion, commercial activities, management, related administrative activities, etc.
• Requires minimal supervision.
• Includes execution, coordination and managerial roles.

Job Specific Comments:

• Cashew Nut and Agric commodities procurement, selling and trading functions.
• Planning and executing new initiatives and strategies for developing trading network and customer base in each country of Africa Continent.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities and penetrating new markets for Cashew and other commodities trading.
• Keeping track of global Cashew and Agric commodity price movement and market.
• Aligning Raw Cashew Nut and Agric commodity procurement and product sale & marketing with global Cashew and Agric commodity price movement and market trend.
• Procurement control of Raw Cashew Nut in terms of cost and time.
• Ensuring timely services/supply of products to customers including dealers and distributors.
• Controlling commercial activities pertaining to procurement, sale, credit policy, etc.
• Close checking and supervision of products quality and ensuring that the products meet maximum attainable standard of quality and reliability.
• Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements.
• Budgeting and goals/targets setting along with full P & L responsibility.
• Any other job which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
