The Pharmaceuticals business sector comprises innovative prescription drugs as well as over-the-counter products. The Chemicals business sector offers specialty products for the electronics, printing, coatings, cosmetics, food, pharmaceutical and biotech industries
Desired Profile:
- A Mechanical Engineering Graduate with around 8 to 15 years experience in Quality Assurance/ Systems, Process Planning, Production Operations and New product development from reputed MNC and worked in Supplier Quality Management at least five years in senior position.
- Well versed with ISO 9001:2008, TQM, SPC, MINI TAB, Problem Solving Techniques. Exposure to EFQM will be added advantage.
- Exposure to Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Effective communicator with excellent relationship management & negotiation skills; possess a flexible & result oriented attitude with analytical skills.
- Expertise in managing cross-functional teams like purchase, production, suppliers & proficiency in coordinating and managing supplies.
- Responsibilities:
- Provides relevant data and information about suppliers.
- Establishes the supplier audit program in order to identify real opportunities for quality improvement and ensures audits are well planned and prepared. Writes and transmits audits reports with a timely manner. Follows resulting corrective and preventive actions. Inputs criticism, partnership improvement, source of thought.
- Sponsors and facilitates team activities thanks to successful communications, internally within the plant and externally with the suppliers. Maintains a fluent information flow with purchasing, procurement, manufacturing, Material Management and R&D.
- Tracks and reviews appropriate metrics in order to highlight supplier performance and satisfaction level. Outputs incoming inspection metrics, continuous evaluation, audits results, rate of certified suppliers
- Continuously improves supplier quality levels and develops preventive actions in agreement with suppliers (on product, process, cost, …) in order to reach total quality. Inputs product and process control, statistical process control, AMDEC
- Ensures the purchasing quality system is compliant with Clients corporate system, MIPL policy and ISO.
- Develop Dock to Stock program and actively participate in the implementation.
- Analyze, resolve and report on customer complaints caused by purchased finished goods
