1. Role

The Senior Manager – Commercial (NI) is accountable for achieving profitable growth as per the yearly budgets for all products lines within NI in India.

 Responsibility

 Customer

–      Ensures customer satisfaction for all activities related to the project management of New Installations across the country.

–      Continuously reviews the market.

Business Development

–      Deploys the sales strategy in the country within the framework specified by the IND Management team.

 Achieves monthly, quarterly and annual budgeted PLR by

–      Guiding the Accounts team for new business and maintaining the existing business as per the forecast and business plan

–      Guiding the team to meet the commitments to the customers as per Schindler quality standards and within the agreed cost

parameters.

–    Continously reviews the progress of profitable Sales across locations to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

–     Identifies high potential business opportunities, sets priorities and implements action plans within various market

segments e.g. Government, etc.

–     Define with the Sr. Mgr – Technical (NI) on individual and business unit targets for handover completions and costs.

–     Advertising, sales promotion, Market research, Distribution, pricing, merchandising etc.

–     Carry out Market and Competitor Analysis on a regular basis.

–     Sales and completions forecasting.

 People

–     Motivates and coaches the personnel to achieve targets.

–     Responsible for planning, assigning and allocating resources and responsibilities to his team for achievement of targets

–     Support the Sales team in achieving their targets by helping in project planning and coordinating for resources.

–     Responsible for the development and for providing growth opportunities to his team.

  Financial

–     Produces timely reports to the Management detailing the business performance against the forecast and the budget for

his team.

–     Prepares the NI Sales budget and ensures implementation.

Qualification

Mandatory: B.E. / B.Tech from a reputed college with a consistent academic record.

Desirable: Management Degree

Professional Exprience

Post qualification – 8 – 12 years with a proven track record for the last three 3 years as Profit Centre Head / Business Unit Head / Sales Head.

Exposure to market at a national level.
