Job Purpose: This position is responsible to manage the accounts & finance function for the Stock & Sale business for Minerals
Department: Finance and Accounts, Minerals, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the entire Finance & Accounts functionalities for the new set up of Stock & Sale by ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place
- Working capital & inventory management for the business
- Managing direct & indirect taxation for the stock & sale business
- Setting up and running the system of inventory / physical stock verification etc. Managing stock Ageing analysis
- Managing receivable and keeping the debtor turn over to minimal.
- Accountable for preparation of books and accounts and Monthly and Periodical Financial MIS
- Compile and record the sales turnover / revenue statement company revenue, working capital, expenditure and return on investments
- Ensuring timely invoicing, payables & receivables
- Managing quarterly / Half Yearly / Annual Audits
- Migrating to new ERP for Stock & Sale business
- Minimizing interest cost on loans borrowed from Bank / Financial Institutions and from group companies.
- Champion the process of risk management for ensuring risk free growth
Desired Profile: Experience of 7 – 8 years post Qualification
Educational Qualifications: CA / ICWA
