Minimum Requirements At Joining:
o Specialized Experience:
- Minimum 10 years hand-on experience on Tetra-Pak machines like TBA/19, TBA/22, TBA/8, A3 Flex, A3 Compac Flex and DE machines;
- Having PLC knowledge will also be an advantage
o Education Level
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
o Languages:
- Excellent communication skills in English (Read, write and speak)
II. Major Functions
- Provide visible leadership for the section
- To Maintain Designated lines in good condition
- Ensures Electrical/Mechanical Efficiency of the Filling lines.
- Ensures Economical Efficiency of filling lines.
- Ensure Minimum wastage on the lines.
II. Basic Duties & Responsibilities [Time Spent%: ]
- Ensure efficient running of the designated filling lines.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for Implementation.
- Plans, follow-up and control of works as scheduled.
- Ensures Preventive Maintenance works are performed and consumption of spare parts and other materials monitored into Maximo.
- Review and improve Preventive maintenance Program, in accordance with the Local requirements.
- Directs the supervisors/shift Engineers to sustain and continuously improve the efficiencies.
- Accountable for the total efficiencies of the designated lines.
- Provides support when needed to resolve the technical issues in the designated lines.
o Plant Maintenance [Time Spent%: 20]
- Monitoring & Optimizing Preventive Maintenance Programs in Maximo in designated lines.
- Coordinating with Production for executing Preventive Maintenance at the daily Production Meeting.
- Attend and analyze the root cause for Selective Maintenance and Breakdowns.
- Optimization of Designated lines to achieve better efficiency and low was tags.
- Ensure Critical parameters are maintained.
- Ensure that Preventive Maintenance schedules are maintained.
- Cost control over designated lines.
o Administrative & Procedural Responsibilities: [Time Spent%: 15]
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- Ensures skilled manpower available at all times to secure smooth and Reliable running of the designated lines.
o People Management Responsibilities [Time Spent%: 10]
- Builds and maintains proper staffing level, employee discipline and employee recommendation in the designated area.
- Identifying the Training Needs of Team.
- Ensures that the team is kept updated about technical developments and reviews.
- Extensive cooperation, interaction and co-ordination with production department to fulfill daily requirement.
o Inventory Management Responsibilities [Time Spent%: 10]
- Follow up with suppliers to keep the right spare parts in stock for needed services.
- Update Stores about the obsolete spare parts of the machinery to be removed.
- Ensure that breakdown orders reaches to the suppliers.
- Assist to optimize the level of stock.
o General Responsibilities [Time Spent%: 5]
- Performs any duty assigned by the line
- Processes any cross training as mandated by the line
- Alternates for colleagues when requested by the management
