Key Responsibilities
To ensure that all functions of the Logistics Department are being carried out effectively.
Measuring inputs and outputs of the department.
Analysis of above.
Continuously looking at ways of improving overall customer support.
The maintenance and improvement of departmental procedures in line with ISO guidelines.
The ensuring that all team members are working safely in accordance to company Health & Safety procedures and are maintaining a safe working environment.
The promotion of a positive approach to equal opportunities and ensure that Equal Opportunities policies and procedures are adhered to by staff for whom they are responsible.
To prepare the Purchase Order (P.O) on HQ based on past trend and future sales forecast with proper split into the locations.
To plot correct sales figure w.r.t past trends in the Sales Forecast format and to send it to the sales reps by 3rd of every month
To follow up with the sales team to get the Sales Forecast by the 7th not just by sending emails.
To analyse the past trends and sales forecast received and use professional judgement to place orders by the 10th.
To follow up with HQ if necessary for timely dispatch of goods.
To report to the immediate manager about any stumbling blocks.
