Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Performance standards
- Ensure all daily work within area of responsibility is prepared/executed timely, accurately and according to department procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ensure to provide MIS appropriately to the required teams
- Effectively communicate trends/issues identified in daily operations to the necessary recipients.
- Attend for various audit queries and provide response appropriately
- Perform Ad hoc requirements and NFO recons
Problem solving and analytical skills
- Analyze and identify the trend, if any, from issues/exceptions.
- Recommend ways to minimize the re occurrence of such issues/ exceptions. These recommendations can include training suggestions, system enhancements, process changes, policy changes.
Innovation and creativity
- Recommend changes to further enhance the current systems or processes for productivity gains. Assist in testing the new features of any system changes
- Ensure to be a part of the user access testings on the developing projects or any ad hoc enhancements and complete accurately
Business Insight
- Represent the unit on any special projects if assigned, such as participation as a subject matter expert on an enhancement recommendation or working on an exception identified that resulted in a project or a combined task across the units.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
(Years of experience is not applicable for European jobs)
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce
- Accounting knowledge
- Around 1-2 years of experience in Operations, preferably in a Mutual Fund Industry
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- AMFI Certification is preferable
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Basic banking knowledge would be an advantage
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
- Ability to handle pressure and deal with Internal /External Customers
- Understanding of process flows of other departments within the organization
- Ability to receive general directions and work independently
PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING
- Good analytical skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
(Not applicable for European jobs)
- Ability to maintain a professional image
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- Handling of a small team is added advantage
