Hiring for the position of Manager – Finance & Costing

Our Client is a leading FMCG company in Uganda.

Position: Manager – Finance & Costing

Reports to: Financial Controller

Minimum Qualification:  B. com and CA/ICWAI

Age : 28 – 35Yrs

Gender:  Male

Experience:  Minimum 5 + yrs in a reputed FMCG industry. EA working experience will be an added advantage

Main Role:  

Costing:

1. Independent Costing Of Products- FMCG
2. Evaluation of Various schemes time to time
3. Project Costing- Preparation of Project, Feasibility and Cost-Benefit Analysis and calculation of ROI
4. Monthly Cost Rollup activities in SAP ( to check BOM (Bill of Materials),  calculating Rate for Resources and maintaining the prices in SAP )
5.  Review of various costing reports in SAP and comparing with Financial Reports
6. Monthly Price updating of the products in SAP

Finance:

1. Day to Day checking of Cash Vouchers
2. Checking of Bank Reconciliation
3. Vendors, Customers Scrutiny
4. GL Scrutiny and posting of necessary entries on Monthly basis for Monthly account closing.
5. Regularly monitoring of various control ledgers in SAP to ensure clearing of open items time to time.
6. Finalization of Monthly MIS (Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet)
7. Preparation and submission of Management Accounts and Stock Statements to the Banks
8. Liaison with Internal Auditor for solving Internal Audit Query

Finalization of Annual Accounts and Liaison with External Auditor for Completing Statutory Audit

Skills:       

• working experience in SAP is MUST
• Basic knowledge of ISO systems
• Good team player.
•  Good Manager able to control and lead his team

Others:                 Ready to relocate to East Africa with or without family.

Excellent communication skills

Should speak English fluently

Pay Range:    

•  USD 2200 – USD 2500 (Exclusive NSSF)
•   Fully furnished family accommodation or Allowance
•  Air fare for self and family to join job
•  45 days paid leave every two years for self and family
