Job Description:
- Professional qualification in accounting and finance with 10-15 years of industry experience – of which at least five years must be in Sugar Industry
- Experience in accounting and financial management in a group structure
- IFRS exposure
- Hands on. Knowledge (overview) of all sugar milling and cane cultivation processes and controls.
- Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
- Should have worked in an ERP environment. Involvement in implementation of an ERP system is an advantage.
- Controlling income, cash flows and expenditure – Innovative in resource management and cost control techniques – experience in budgetary control techniques.
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans
- Commercial orientation – Vendor management
- Audit, Taxation and all statutory compliances
- Asset control and management – insurances
- Liaison with Financial Institutions and meet the reporting obligations in relation financiers, statutory agencies and regulatory bodies.
- Adept in working capital management
- Adept in MIS and Board Reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and clear directions to a finance team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
Location : Sugar Factory/Estate ( Self-contained housing facilities with all amenities like cable television, hospital, social club etc….. )
