Engineer (Power Electronics) – Bangalore

Purpose of the Role:

Responsible for delivering the finished SMPS/Converter to customer from specification to finished SMPS/Converter to customer and able to lead a team

Outcome Required / Strategic Priorities

• On time delivery of good quality product to end customer as per plan

Main Responsibilities / Critical tasks

1. Responsible for providing the response to RFP/RFQ and feasibility report
2. Responsible to design, development, testing and qualification of the DC-DC Converters and Power Electronic Products
3. Responsible to meet the deadline and targets of the projects
4. Responsible to lead the team
5. Responsible to Maintain & update the project files as per AS9100
6. Responsible to improve 5S & Kaizen initiatives

Qualification & Experience

• E/M.tech in Power Electronics
• Minimum Experience >3 Years
• Knowledge in Power Electronics, DC-DC Converters, SMPS, Flyback, Forward, Full Bridge, Half Bridge, Push-Pull

Skills & Knowledge

1. Knowledge in Power Electronics, DC-DC Converters, SMPS, Flyback, Forward, Full Bridge, Half Bridge, Push-Pull Converter
2. Knowledge of Simulation software such as OrCad, LTSpice etc.
3. Good understanding of EMI/EMC and various environmental tests such as burn-in, thermo-vac, active temperature cycling tests etc. Knowledge of various MIL Standards such as MIL-STD-883/810/704/1275/461; MIL-PRF-38534 etc.
4. Good hands on experience and command on various converter topologies such as Flyback, forward, half bridge, full bridge topologies etc.
5. Good understanding on various analysis such as Thermal, Derating, Closed loop analysis, Reliability, FMECA etc.
6. Experience of minimum two products cycle
