SUPERINTENDENT-ELECTRICAL (SUGAR/CO-GENERATION)
The incumbent will be responsible for routine and breakdown maintenance of sugar mill and co-generation unit as well as new installations, managing and motivating the electrical department to minimize downtime; setting and ensuring that good engineering standards are adhered to; designing and implementing a preventive electrical maintenance programme in liaison with other sections; determining the minimum and maximum levels of electrical spares and materials that are maintained in the stores; identifying technical training requirements and implementing training programmes.
The candidate should be an Electrical engineering graduate with 12 years experience in sugar/co-generation industry, out of which 5 years should be in a managerial position.
