Effluent Treatment Engineer – Kuwait

• I. Major Functions
  • Manage the Effluent Treatment Plant
  • Operates and control the effluent treatment process
  • Ensure the water outlet is within the governmental parameters

• II. Basic Duties & Responsibilities
  • Functional Responsibilities
    • Monitoring the system process
    • Ensure that all Effluent Tankers leaving KDD for further treatment are up to the Ministry regulations for Effluent Water Monitoring the calibration of equipment
    • Job task to be reported on a daily basis.
    • Manage supplies of consumables
    • Arranging weekly shift and vacation schedules
    • Apply Quality, Environment & Safety systems

• Strategic Functions
  • Ensure and optimize process operation
  • Ensure smooth operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant
  • Contribute to minimize operating expenses
  • Ensure that daily routine jobs are executed by the Effluent Treatment Operator
  • Fill in the daily report and Checklists

• General Responsibilities
  • Assist in training and motivating staff
  • Performs any duty assigned by the line Manager
  • Alternates for colleagues when requested by the management

• III. Minimum Requirements At Joining:
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering

• Work Experience:
  • Min. 5 – 6 years mid management experience in any Processing Industry
  • Should be physically fit to work under extreme weather conditions (heat/cold)

    • English & Local Practiced Language is preferable
