Summary of Job Tasks & Responsibilities
Mandatory Skills Required:
Design and development experience in IEEE 802.11 protocol stack. Excellent C programming skills with proven experience of writing efficient code for embedded environment. Experience in linux kernel device driver development – preferably network device drivers Good understanding of USB / SDIO / PCIE interfaces
Conversant with embedded development tools Exposure to hardware programming, understanding of hardware issues and resolving with hardware team is also highly desired
Desired Skills Required:
Experience in protocol development is a plus Strong communication skills with ability to create design documentation detailing complex features and applications Self driven and positive attitude Good debugging skill Good to have experience in debuggers, protocol analyzers (OmniPeek, Wireshark), JTAG, Bus Analyzers, Logic analyzers etc Good to have experience of full product development life cycle, from requirements to product validation in customer platforms.
Responsibilities:
The position holder would be responsible for driver development on Linux / Windows and for porting activities for various customer platforms.
