Position: Purchase Manager

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 10+ Years

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E. in Electronics & Telecommunication
  • Education in supply chain management would be advantageous

Job Role:

  • Analysis of purchase history, on all India basis, to define the purchase patterns
  • Setting up, organization and execution of purchase process, ensuring compliance with global, regional and local contracts
  • Explore and capture internal demand
  • Contract management
  • Centralized procurement planning & budgeting
  • Receiving & analyzing BOQ , preparing & floating RFP/RFI/RFQ to vendors
  • Identification of vendors, receiving quotations from vendors, preparing TCO analysis sheet for vendor comparisons, negotiation & finalization
  • Preparing purchase order
  • Follow up with the vendor for material/service delivery
  • Preparation MIS of stock of production and purchase order on month END.
  • Rate contract for regular supplies and services
  • Purchase cost saving

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple way

  • Ability to develop and establish solid and trustworthy relationships

  • Capable to think in market mechanisms and dynamics and the ability to act upon them

  • Understanding of intercultural differences
  • Loyalty to Corporate values, guiding principles and policies and personal integrity
  • 6 years in purchasing of equipments/peripheral/accessories related to enterprise level voice, data, video and AV (Audio,Video)
  • Thorough understanding of purchase practices, procedures and commercial laws
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential

Desired Skills:

  • The person would have the total responsibility of sourcing & procuring  all the items  from various vendors & assist the Project Team in integrating these offerings to the end consumer.

Experience:

Competitive sourcing, Inventory Management, Price Negotiations, Signing of Vendor agreements, Vetting Contracts form Legal point of view , Handling Logistics & Commercial activities etc. would be the key result areas.
