Purpose
This role exists to provide leadership, technical expertise and support the Plant using all planned Maintenance systems and Early Management.
Key Challenges:
- Coach maintenance teams
Budget development and cost saving projects to drive decreasing expense costs - Drive breakdown and process upset losses to zero
- Maintain communications
- Training
- Supervision of trades people
- Autonomous Maintenance Support
- Computerized Maintenance System
- Data Analysis
- Maintain communications with other facilities in sharing “best practices” to drive zero downtime culture capital and trade repair projects
- Skilled trades apprentice program
Support Engineering, HSE, QA, Operations and TPM systems
Scheduled maintenance planning and execution
Predictive techniques systems
Leader of PM Pillar
Profile
Experience and Qualification
- Engineering Degree B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in an applicable area of study. No Diploma required
- Minimum 08 years experience in FMCG Industry
- Preferably in Bottling Industry
- Must be sound in Utility Operations
- Skills and Behavioral Attributes
- Solid leadership, communication and team development skills
Facilitation skills that demonstrate effective motivating and coaching to engage a diverse group of employees (hourly to senior management) in the problem solving process
Demonstrated successful implementation of Computerized Maintenance Systems
Strong problem solving abilities using statistical analysis and team based approach
Self – starter with ability to develop and enable strategies in line with an overall business vision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
PLC and process control experience would be an asset
Experience with Process Improvement Methodologies (FMEA, Six-Sigma, TPM, etc.). Experience driving the Preventative Maintenance Pillar Systems
Experience in developing a successful predictive and preventative maintenance program
